Electronic Evenness Tester for Sliver & Roving
DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
This is an Electronic Evenness Tester, a precision instrument designed specifically to determine the evenness of materials in the spinning preparation stage, namely sliver and roving. This device is a fundamental tool for quality control in spinning mills to ensure material consistency before it is processed into yarn. The following are its detailed technical specifications and capabilities.
This instrument offers high-precision measurement performance for mass evenness analysis. Designed to test materials within a linear density range of 160 to 650 tex, it features a very fine measurement resolution of 0.01mm, allowing it to detect even the slightest variations in thickness. The testing process runs at a standardized, constant speed, with a circumferential velocity of the idler pulley at 1950 mm/min, ensuring consistent and repeatable test conditions.
Operated by an advanced micro computer control system, this instrument simplifies the evenness analysis process. One of its key features is the ability to display the evenness curve in real-time on its integrated LCD screen. This instant visual feedback allows operators to immediately identify any irregularities or defects in the sliver or roving, enabling prompt corrective actions in the production process.
Functionally designed for the needs of a spinning laboratory, the device comes with two idler pulley slot width options (1.58mm and 3.17mm) to accommodate various material diameters. By ensuring evenness at the sliver and roving stage, spinning mills can significantly improve the quality of the final yarn, reduce yarn breakages during production, and produce fabrics with a more uniform appearance. Therefore, this instrument is a crucial investment for foundational quality control in the textile industry.
