For lubricating grease, thermal stability is key, and our Dropping Point Testers deliver accurate data on its maximum operational temperature. In compliance with industry standards like ASTM D566, we offer solutions in two methods: the oil bath for exceptionally uniform heat transfer with a stirrer, and the air bath for precise heating gradient control. Both methods are designed to reliably determine the temperature at which grease begins to lose its structural integrity—vital information for preventing lubrication failure at high temperatures.

Just as thermal stability is critical for grease, the ability of oil to separate from water is a crucial property, especially for turbine and hydraulic oils. Our Demulsibility Characteristics Testers are precisely engineered per ASTM D1401 standards to measure this capability. With accurate temperature control up to 99.9°C (±1°C) and a constant stirring speed of 1500 RPM, these instruments create a controlled emulsion to then measure how effectively the oil can shed water. Equipped with clear digital and LCD displays, they ensure easy-to-monitor and highly repeatable water separability testing.
