FEATURE
DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

This is a Yarns Faults Classification Tester, an advanced analysis instrument designed to detect, count, and classify seldom-occurring faults in staple yarns. This tool is essential for objectively assessing yarn quality and providing crucial data to optimize the spinning process for various types of natural fibers (cotton, wool, linen, silk) as well as artificial fibers and their blends. The following are its detailed technical specifications and capabilities.

This system operates using highly sensitive capacitive detecting technology to continuously and accurately measure mass variations along the length of the yarn. Designed for high efficiency, tests are conducted at a very fast winding speed of up to 1800 meters per minute. The platform boasts high throughput, with a standard configuration equipped with 6 measuring spindles and optionally expandable up to 12 spindles, allowing for the simultaneous analysis of multiple yarn packages. It can analyze a wide range of yarn counts, from 1 to 200 tex.

The most powerful feature of this instrument is its in-depth classification software. The system automatically classifies detected faults into three main categories: Thick Places, Thin Places, and Neps. Furthermore, these faults are categorized into 23 standard grades (e.g., grades A-D for Thick Places, E-G for Thin Places, H-I for Neps). An additional 16 optional grades are also available, enabling even more detailed analysis for better optimization of the production process.

By providing accurate and detailed data on the type, number, and distribution of faults, this instrument serves as more than just a quality control tool—it is a process optimization instrument. The generated data allows spinning mill managers to trace the source of problems within the production line, make targeted improvements, and significantly enhance the quality and consistency of their yarn. This is an essential investment for any serious yarn manufacturer aiming to improve efficiency and product quality.
