Selling Standard Fabric Water Resistance Test Equipment for Textile Water Resistance Testing
DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The RF4418 Spray Rating Tester is a primary laboratory instrument designed to determine the water repellent properties of fabric specimens. This device is vital for the textile industry to assess the quality of water-resistant finishes on various materials, ensuring high-performance standards for end-products like rainwear and technical outdoor gear.
Operationally, 250ml of distilled water is poured into the funnel and allowed to spray from a nozzle down a distance of 150mm onto the specimen. The fabric is mounted on a 45-degree test hoop to accurately simulate water impact. Once the spray cycle is empty (within 25-30 seconds), the grade is determined by comparing the wetted specimen surface against a standardized rating chart.
The RF4418 unit features a compact and robust design with an approximate weight of 6kg, including all necessary components such as the Stand, funnel, spray test nozzle, and specimen hoop. It fully complies with major international testing standards, including AATCC 22, ISO 4920, and BS EN 24920, providing reliable and globally recognized test data for professional quality control.
