In the bulk material industry—from mining and power plants to metallurgy—the accuracy of any analysis begins with one critical step: obtaining a representative sample. A minor error at this initial stage will lead to invalid data. Introducing the 5E Series Automatic Mechanical Sampling System by VGI, a complete, end-to-end integrated solution engineered to eliminate uncertainty and deliver the most accurate samples, consistently.

Our modular system can be configured for any point in your facility, covering two main stages:

1. Reliable Primary Sample Extraction We provide the right technology to extract samples directly from the source, ensuring every part of the material lot has an equal chance of being represented.

• For Belt Conveyors: The Cross-Belt Sampler takes a full cross-section sample from the moving material stream, yielding the most ideal primary sample.
• For Railway Wagons & Trucks: The Railway/Wagon Sampler utilizes an Auger Sampler (e.g., Rotary Cylinder Auger) to perform stratified random sampling from static bulk material.
• Versatile Sampler Heads: Our systems can be fitted with various sampler heads (Augers, Sweep Types) to perfectly match different materials, including coal, coke, iron ore, and limestone.

2. Automated Online Sample Preparation Once the primary sample is extracted, our online system processes it automatically to produce a final, lab-ready sample.

• Integrated Process: The sample moves through a sequence of stages: iron removal, crushing with a Hammer Crusher, mixing for homogenization, and dividing to reduce volume while maintaining representation.
• Intelligent Control: The entire system is controlled by a PLC with a Touch Screen, allowing for automatic, semi-automatic, or manual operation, and can be integrated with your information management system.
