The base coating unit of this machine smears foundation oil to fill the capillary functions of the paper surface which enhances the adhesiveness between the UV layer and oily ink. This process reduces the penetration of UV coatings to keep the paper white and effectively saves precious UV oil consumption. It utilizes a three roller system with double pressure and double scrapers ensuring that cleaning and coating operations are perfectly synchronized. For drying the IR unit features 15KW lamps with independent speed adjustment and a high power exhaust fan system to maintain even temperatures within the oven.

The primary UV coating unit is equipped with a high sensitivity wind knife system suitable for glazing both thick and thin paper. Micro adjustment capabilities allow for even smearing and material usage control resulting in a smooth and glossy paper finish. The UV drying unit uses radiation to harden the UV oil making it resistant to wear while promoting the glossiness of the paper surface. It includes fast cooling equipment to avoid paper curling during the process. Finally the automatic delivery unit employs a low noise conveyor belt with an upper and lower pressing track design and a pneumatic sheet jogging device to keep thin paper stable and prevent curling.
