Coal Plasticity Testing Device with Automatic Gieseler Plastometer
DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
A sophisticated laboratory instrument specifically engineered to analyze and determine the plastic properties, or fluidity, of bituminous coal when heated under strictly controlled conditions. This instrument serves as a cornerstone in the coke and steel manufacturing industries, where a deep understanding of coal's plastic behavior is crucial for predicting the quality of the resulting coke. With a fully automated system, this device delivers accurate, consistent, and repeatable results, thereby minimizing operator intervention and potential human error.
The superior performance of this machine is supported by precise constant torque technology and a highly stable heating system. With an adjustable stirrer motor speed from 300 to 1,500 revolutions per minute and a wide operating temperature range between 260°C to 600°C, each test can be tailored to the specific needs of the coal sample. The HRE Spiral Heating Wire element, encased in Zirconium Containing Ceramic Fiber insulation, ensures even heat distribution and precise temperature control with a resolution from 0.5°C/min to 9.9°C/min, allowing for the simulation of actual industrial heating processes.
Modern and intuitive operation is a key advantage, thanks to full integration with an advanced computer set equipped with the latest operating system, a 13th generation Intel Core i5 processor, and a 23-inch monitor. All testing parameters, fluidity measurement results in DDPM (Dial Divisions Per Minute), and data curves are displayed in real-time and automatically recorded every 60 seconds. Full compliance with leading international industry standards, such as ASTM D2639 and ISO 10329, ensures that the generated data is recognized and reliable for quality control and research purposes worldwide.
Each unit is delivered as a comprehensive turnkey solution, ready for immediate operation right after installation. The sales package includes all essential components, including two crucibles complete with their stirrer kits, which already meet ASTM and ISO standards. The device also comes equipped with a 10 kg capacity solder bath alloy device, a coal sample loading and preparation device, and a set of No. 40 and No. 70 sieves to ensure correct and consistent sample preparation from start to finish.
With the ability to accurately measure the plastic temperature range, initial softening point, resolidification point, and maximum fluidity, this instrument provides crucial data for engineers and metallurgists. This data is used to optimize coal blends, improve coke production efficiency, and guarantee the final quality of steel products, making it a vital investment for quality control laboratories, coke plants, coal mining companies, and research institutions focused on material science and energy.
