Automatic Distillation Apparatus for Petroleum Products
DESCRIPTION / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Introducing the latest generation of automated distillation analysis instruments, a state-of-the-art solution designed for the quality control of petroleum products. This device fully conforms to the fundamental industry standard, ASTM D86, making it an essential tool for testing distillate fuels such as natural gasoline, automotive and aviation gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, and petroleum solvent oils. The completely automated testing process, from heating to result logging, drastically reduces the potential for human error, enhances laboratory efficiency, and provides consistent, highly reliable data for critical decision-making.
The core advantage of this instrument lies in its intelligent control system and intuitive user interface. Powered by a single-chip microcomputer, the entire experimental process is automatically controlled. User interaction is facilitated through a 10-inch color LCD touch screen that displays process curves, temperature, volume, and all related data in real time. The ability to save, query, and print experiment results directly from the instrument provides unparalleled data management convenience, simplifying workflows and reporting in the modern laboratory.
Measurement precision is the foundation of this device, achieved through cutting-edge sensor technology. Initial boiling point detection is performed by a highly sensitive optical fiber sensor. For volume measurement, the instrument utilizes an advanced liquid level tracking system composed of a high-precision linear motor and a laser tracker, ensuring a recycling volume measurement accuracy of up to ±0.1ml. On the temperature front, a reliable RTD Pt100 sensor provides temperature control precision of ±0.1°C, guaranteeing that every phase of the distillation runs under the most stable thermal conditions.
The heating and cooling system in this apparatus is fully integrated and automated. The distillation furnace is intelligently controlled to maintain a constant distillation rate between 4 to 5 ml per minute, as per standard requirements. One of the most significant features is the integrated mechanical refrigeration system, powered by a high-quality compressor, which eliminates the need for external cooling water. Furthermore, the instrument automatically detects the local atmospheric pressure and applies corrections to the temperature results, ensuring the data produced is always accurate and standardized, regardless of where the test is performed.
